.NET Domain Names
When the .NET universal top-level extension was initially set up in 1985, together with the first domain extensions on the World Wide Web, it was meant to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure establishments. Considering that there were no special restrictions about the usage of the top-level domain, though, .NET domains were purchased and used for diverse purposes and by a great number of people. This TLD is a wonderful substitute of dot COM, notably if the desired domain with the latter TLD is not available for registration.
Registering a .NET domain with our firm is as easy as a breeze and takes merely a couple of minutes, considering that we partner with an ICANN-accredited registrar. You can purchase such a domain for a period between 1 and 10 years, or, if you already own a domain, you can move it over to our firm and we will renew it as soon as the transfer process is completed. Transfers are possible for all domain names, which are at least sixty days old, given that they are unlocked and that you have obtained an EPP transfer code – security measures set up by the .NET Registry organization to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily edit the WHOIS contact information of the domain through your Control Panel interface, or, if you don’t want this information to be visible at all, you can add a Whois Privacy Protection service, so nobody will be able to view your real contact information.
The .NET top-level domain extension supports internationalized names, so you can select whether you want to concentrate on a specific country or zone using a domain name in the native language, or the global Internet community – using a generic English name.
